Throughout an extensive career spanning both the private and public sectors and with more than twenty years in senior human resources roles, Rob has developed considerable expertise in delivering high value, high impact solutions to meet various business challenges. Whilst in the past 10 years his focus has been on all facets of reward and remuneration he also has considerable experience in strategy development, acquisition and integration, recruitment, HR systems, organisational design, employee relations, workforce planning and performance management.
Rob’s more recent experience has been at a senior executive level and he has held various positions including Global and Regional/Divisional Head of Reward roles for large financial services organisations including QBE, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac BT, ABN AMRO and outside the sector at Lend Lease and MLC. In addition to managing the reward function, he has extensive experience working directly with and advising senior executive teams and Remuneration Committees of Boards.
During his time as a senior management consultant with Mercer Cullen Egan Dell, Rob worked with clients across the private and public sectors on a range of projects that he managed directly covering both pure remuneration and organisation development and design. His experience in employee relations, workforce planning and establishing a green field human resource function were gained in large public sector authorities including WorkCover, Environment Protection Authority and NSW Parliament respectively.
Rob’s professional experience is enhanced by his MBA qualification and cultural awareness gained from two overseas assignments working off shore where he was based in Hong Kong and more recently in New York.
Rob is now applying his passion, expertise and knowledge to improve business performance through people working as a consultant and coach with CEO’s, Managing Directors and senior executive teams in publicly listed and private corporations across a wide spectrum of business sectors.
